Please gather at the Metaline Waterfront Park in the town of Metaline at 7:45 am; the boat will leave the park at 8:00 am. Please bring: 1) appropriate clothing and footware for a variety of conditions 2) lunch/drinks RSVP by Thursday, June 22, to Michele Lynn at: (206) 386-4578 or michele.lynn@seattle.gov . We need to know the number of participants in advance to make sure we have the right sized boat. The tour for recreation/land use/aesthetics/socioeconomics resources will include travel by boat and by foot. Time allowing, we plan to view the following resources/areas: - SCL recreation facilities - forebay and tailrace recreation areas; powerhouse visitor's gallery; Vista House and trail; - Crescent Lake Recreation Area (administered by USFS); - Metaline Waterfront Park and boat ramp; - Metaline shoreline trail; - BLM recreation site near Everett Creek; - Monument Bar site; - Pee Wee Falls; - Campbell Park (Pend Oreille County PUD recreation site) - Dispersed recreation sites (along reservoir)
